Students and postdocs with various backgrounds including psychology, neuroscience, medicine or education are welcome to join us.
Undergraduate study
Interested undergraduates are encouraged to do their final year projects in the lab and should contact Professor Melville, Professor Pollick, and Dr. Simmons during their third year. Opportunities for summer funding between third and fourth years are available from various sources and it is best to make contact in the autumn as applications are due starting around early February.
Postgraduate study
Positions for the Masters course are generally available and these are typically self-funded.
For a PhD the application process usually begins around January to start in September. Funding is available for the PhD on a competitive basis and Professor Melville, Professor Pollick and Dr. Simmons would be happy to hear from any students interested in pursuing a PhD.
Post-doctoral Research
Researchers who have completed or are near to completing their PhD and who are interested in postdoctoral study in the group should contact Professor Melville, Professor Pollick, and Dr. Simmons by email with a CV and details of research interests.
We are always accepting research assistants, be it for a short or longer period of time.
